The developers have created a funny arcade sandbox that presents a tongue-in-cheek approach towards the life of a bum. In the game, players observe the action from the first-person perspective. The in-game world has an open structure giving players the freedom to explore. The locations are densely populated with interesting characters and activities players can complete. During the game, one has to primarily focus on surviving – to do this, you can use a number of bum's special abilities, featuring begging, collecting cans, building cardboard shelters, training pigeons, and learning the mysteries behind the alcohol alchemy. All this is presented in a humoristic way. Because of this, during the campaign players can e.g. solve the mystery of rat-people living in the sewers.
