Players are tasked with investigating the reason of the rising political tension in the country. In order to do this, one has to tap into the lives of several people: the executive editor of The People's Voice, Raban Vhart, his wife Karen, and brother Illy. Players are to decide how far they are willing to go for the sake of their country. Is truth sacred? Or maybe Ignorance is a strength indeed? MechanicsOrwell: Ignorance is Strength is a quite unusual game. The gameplay revolves around reading (e.g. people's profiles from Orwell Program, website articles, social media posts, and private conversations), analyzing the acquired information and making decisions. Time plays a significant role in the game described herein. The player has to decide what to do during particular parts of a day and how to react to sudden events.
