Crazy Machines 1.5 is the next edition, after Crazy Machines: The Wacky Contraption Game, of the extremely popular German logical series, prepared for the broad market and digital distribution. Like all parts of the cycle, the game was prepared by FAKT Software studio. However, it is not a completely new title, because its content consisted of puzzles coming from games published in 2005-2006 and known in our country as News in the Laboratory and 101 New Riddles. Like all games of the series, Crazy Machines 1.5 creatively uses the concept of the Rube Goldberg machine, which the world got to know through the unusual cartoons of this American inventor and illustrator. When you start playing, you get a specific task and a predefined set of parts and objects, and our task is to construct a fancy machine from them, which will help you achieve your goal. The key to success is to know the basic laws of physics and to skillfully use the properties of various objects. These include simple items such as beams, pipes, hammers, ropes and gears, as well as more advanced equipment such as steam boilers, power generators and programmable clocks. Crazy Machines 1.5 consists of over 200 puzzles divided into two parts. In the first of them (News in the Laboratory) we make use of more complicated objects, and the level of difficulty of particular puzzles is much higher. The second group of jigsaw puzzles (101 New Riddles) is addressed rather to the younger group of players and we create not too complicated constructions in it, using a more common set of parts. The game uses not only puzzles, but also backgrounds and music from previous parts of the series, published only in Germany. For compilation purposes, however, the authors made minor improvements to the game engine and user interface, and improved the title's graphics a little bit. We have not forgotten about the functional editor, with the help of which we can design our own boards and riddles.
