Survival is the second DLC for Tom Clancy’s The Division for PS4, PC and XONE, an online action game with RPG elements by Ubisoft Massive. The add-on comes as a part of the season pass but can also be bought separately. Similarly to the first expansion entitled Underground, this DLC was first released for Microsoft platforms, meaning Xboxes and PC. After about a month of exclusivity, it debuted on Sony consoles. Mechanics The expansion introduces a completely new game mode: the eponymous survival which tests players’ survival skills in Dark Zones against the forces of the nature. The main theme of this DLC is struggling against a huge snowstorm that is heading towards New York which not only limits visibility and movement but makes survival more difficult since we have to be wary of, for example, hypothermia. Agents of the Division have to survive only with what they can find themselves. And because it won’t be easy, surely a temptation of going rogue and gaining items in immoral ways will arise.
