PlotThe player assumes the role of a mystically powerful protector of living beings a member of the Getsu clan who fights evil spirits. The protagonist descends to ever lower levels of hell to find and eliminate the cause of the monstrous cataclysm that has struck the world. MechanicsGetsufumaden: Undying Moon is a 2D side-scrolling platform game. It is about moving around the map (often we have to jump and use the hero's abilities to get to certain places) and fighting with the appearing enemies (including powerful bosses e.g. five-headed hydra or giant scolopendra). In battles we use an assortment of cold weapons (such as katanas, spears or... combat umbrellas), which can be strengthened over time.
