Stela is a 2.5D cinematic platformer in which the protagonist is a young woman witnessing the fall of a mysterious civilization. The game was developed by SkyBox Labs studio, developers from which also worked on Halo Infinite. Plot The plot in Stela revolves around a young woman in a collapsing ancient empire. Players get to traverse a variety of areas, including cities, haunted forests, and the underground ruins of buildings erected by the mysterious civilization. During her journey, the protagonist will witness the last days of its existence. Mechanics Stela is a classic platform game, in which players can only move to the right and left. The player must solve puzzles and avoid all kinds of beasts. Achieving this goal is possible through the use of interactive elements of the environment. Technical aspects Stela was made in 2.5D. This means that the character can only move along a specific path (in this case sideways, up and down), while the background is 3D. During the game players travel through various areas maintained in dark colors.
