The title was published by Accolade, a company that returned to life after being inactive for seventeen years. PlotIn Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back the player assumes the role of the titular protagonist who is an anthropomorphic lynx. This time he starts a dangerous journey in order to find the mythical Golden Fleece. The Woolies, antagonists who appeared in previous games in the series, are trying to stop him. The title features large doses of humor. MechanicsDespite the fact that the graphics of Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back for PC and PS4 are three-dimensional, the title uses mechanics similar to side-scrolling, two-dimensional platform games. The player is traveling through colorful locations while avoiding dangers and traps. The protagonist can use typical moves – in addition to running and jumping he can sometimes float mid-air and swim.
