Various Daylife is an RPG developed by Dokidoki Groove Works. During the adventure, the player takes on the role of a colonist who leads a normal life on a newly discovered continent. The title is intended for Apple Arcade subscribers. Plot The action of Various Daylife takes place in the 211th year of the Imperial Era, when a new continent is discovered. The player takes on the role of one of the colonists living in the city of Erebia, which is home to all the pioneers. Mechanics Gameplay in Various Daylife is divided into two segments. The first one is based on normal life. The player takes on of the 20 available jobs from knight to spell-writing scribe. More than 100 different activities can be carried out during work, enabling us to develop our characters. The second segment focuses on the exploration of the continent. As our hero is a pioneer who travels unexplored areas, they must prepare themselves properly: among other things, to pack adequate food supplies and equipment necessary for survival. During the exploration, the player has to face monsters. All battles are turn-based and shown in FPP. Three mechanics have been implemented: CHA Change, which imposes negative effects on enemies; Chain, which allows for combo attacks; Chance, which is designed to deal heavy damage. Technical aspects Various Daylife offers manga style visuals.
