Chicory: A Colorful Tale is an adventure game enriched with metroidvania elements. The title was developed by independent studio Dumb and Fat Games, founded by Greg Lobanov, whose portfolio includes the warmly-receive Wandersong. Thisgame was created, among other things, thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Plot Chicory: A Colorful Tale takes us on a trip to Picnic Province a fantastic land inhabited exclusively by animals bearing names borrowed from food names. When a hare artist named Chicory, who made sure that the place was a feast of colors, goes missing without a trace, her biggest fan, a dog named Pizza, embarks on a search. In addition to his sympathy for her, the protagonist has another reason to do so; on the outskirts of Picnic Prowince a dark forest appeared, which absorbed all the colors and caused many problems for its inhabitants. So there's nothing left for our protege but grab to Chicory's magic brush and try to restore the old order, while trying to find his idol.
