Severed Steel also promotes creativity in combat. This is partly due to the artificial intelligence of enemies, who act in groups and adapt to the player's actions without the use of scripting. The destruction system also does its job. Voxel-based locations can be destroyed at will, allowing you to surprise enemies hidden behind a wall or a floor above, as long as Steel has the necessary firepower.
