The concept and gameplay of the game are inspired by titles like Five Nights at Freddy’s and Slender. The new game was developed by Shawn Hitchcock, the creator of the first entry in the series. PlotIn Emily Wants to Play Too the players assume the role of an employee of Timmy Thom’s Fast Sandwiches, a company that sells takeaway sandwiches. One day, the protagonist comes to an office that looks like an unusual forensic lab. There he finds weird dolls. This triggers some disturbing events. MechanicsEmily Wants to Play Too is a typical survival horror game. The player is tasked with escaping from a terrifying place. The gameplay is inspired by stealth games and it forces players to think strategically and for example predict opponents’ movement. The opponents are usually animated dolls.
