Developers from NBG EDV Handels & Verlags have opted for a highly simplified physics engine. The minimized in-game control system allows you to control powerful machines with just a few keys on the keyboard. On the technical side, the opencast mine simulator is based on solutions taken directly from the scrap yard simulator. The game's visual setting clearly stands out from the competition and points to the low-budget character of the production. However, attention should be paid to such details as changing day and night cycles, or the possibility of selecting one of several camera settings, including switching to the first person view.
