Their only previous expansion, Artorias of the Abyss, was prepared for the first Dark Souls, which debuted in 2011 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and a year later on PC. It is worth mentioning, however, that the DLC was praised by players and offered many hours of satisfying gameplay. Crown of the Ivory King is part of a series of three DLCs that have been built to take full advantage of the specific ideas that characterize the Souls series. Adventures are connected with the basic version of the game and also with each other. During the game, players will have to find three legendary crowns. Mechanics In Crown of the Ivory King, we will explore a monumental ancient temple built in the midst of snow and frost. Abandoned centuries ago, the building was designed to overwhelm players with its emptiness and size. In the course of the DLC, we have to face unfavorable weather, previously unseen opponents, as well as low visibility and many surprises, to which we have been accustomed by developers. Game modes The creators decided to introduce a special option for players who like cooperation. The expansion contains a special, more difficult path where we face demanding bosses, designed with co-op in mind. What is interesting, the access to this DLC is also available to people who didn't buy it but have downloaded only the appropriate patch. Of course, if we feel strong and our character is of a high enough level, we can deal with the challenge alone.
