Story Detective John Blacksad is assigned the task of finding the perpetrator of the death of Joe Dunn, the owner of a boxing club in New York. The victim was hanged, and at the same time as the murder took place, the greatest prot?g? of the club, Robert Yale, the hope of boxing, has also disappeared. Blacksad's client is Dunn's daughter, Sonia, who, since her father's death, has had to struggle with the club's financial problems. Meanwhile, the boxing match of the year is about to take place.
