Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a remake of the first two installments of Advance Wars series, launched on Game Boy Advance platform in 2001. Game was developed and published by Nintendo. PlotAdvance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp takes us into the middle of the war between four nations: Orange Star, Blue Moon, Yellow Comet and Green Earth. During the game we play the role of tactical advisors of the first one, who in fact are responsible for commanding the troops. With time it turns out that the real enemy of all fractions is mysterious, sinister Black Hole army, trying to conquer territories belonging to the others. There is nothing left for the warring factions but to form an alliance which will aim at finally defeating the Black Hole and its leader Sturm. MechanicsIn Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp we play the game in turn-based mode, on maps presented from the air, covered with a grid of square fields. During the game we deploy and lead to victory the largest and most diverse army possible. Although in many cases the victory comes from eliminating all enemy forces or capturing their headquarters, there is no shortage of missions in which other goals await completion. The authors put at our disposal a variety of land, water and air units, varying in terms of attack power, range and field of view. We are talking about light infantry, tanks and transport vehicles, as well as helicopters and airplanes, ships and submarines. It should be remembered that the effectiveness of land units is affected by weather conditions and terrain (as well as the density of buildings in a given territory). In addition, each of them is effective in combat with specific types of enemy troops and has its own set of strengths and weaknesses. In the fight we can also use special abilities of our character, the CO Powers, which are available after charging a special indicator. They provide various buffs to our subordinates and allow us to impose various debuffs on enemy units. In the case of vehicles and machines you should also pay attention to their fuel supply emptying the tank in the land unit makes it impossible to move, and in the air or water unit causes its destruction. The same applies to ammunition, which is limited for each unit; after its supply is exhausted there's nothing left to do but replenish it.
