BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode Two for PC, X360 and PS3 is the second and the last story expansion for 2013's first person shooter BioShock: Infinite. This expansion was created by the developers of the third installment as well. Story The expansion offers a mini-campaign which continues the story of the first episode. This time, the player takes control over the previously AI-controlled Elisabeth, instead of Booker DeWitt. The action begins with a dramatic scene of the heroine waking up next to the body of Zachary Comstock, and a man playing a Russian roulette with a gun aimed at her face. Then Booker's voice speaks inside of her head, giving instructions on how to stay alive. In such a way, she manages to prevent her own death. However, now she is obliged to help a group led by Atlas in returning to Rapture. Gameplay As usual, BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode Two for PC, X360 and PS3 is a first person perspective game. However, the gameplay mechanics have changed. While BioShock: Infinite and the first expansion were all about fighting large groups of enemies in fast-paced firefights, the second episode focuses on stealth approach. Elisabeth is physically fragile, so instead of standing up to stronger enemies, she sneaks behind their backs and attacks them by surprise. On top of that, there never is a lot of ammo to be found, so the game seems to be turning towards the survival-horror genre. An additional feature of the game is the optional 1998 playing mode, in which the player cannot kill anyone during the entire campaign (reminiscent of the release date of Thief: The Dark Project). Technology The action of BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode Two for PC, X360 and PS3 takes place mainly in Rapture, a well-known underwater city from BioShock and BioShock 2. The creators did not use any existing graphical models all the locations and models of enemies were recreated. Thus, the underwater metropolis looks substantially better than in the previous installments.
