Chaos Reborn: Adventures is a turn-based strategy that is set in a typical fantasy world. The title is a mobile conversion of the 2015 Chaos Reborn and allows players to control mages fighting for influence and power. Snapshot Games (founded by Julian Gollop, the creator of the X-COM series) and Big Blue Bubble are responsible for creating this production. Mechanics Chaos Reborn: Adventures combines turn-based strategy with card game elements. Players control their units by moving them on a hexagonal map. Main premise of the game is to eliminate the enemy sorcerer (or sorcerers, because you don't always fight with just one enemy). All available units in the game (and what special abilities they can use) are determined by the cards in your collection, as well as mana which is always lacking, so it is necessary to make difficult, strategic choices. The game offers many options and tactical possibilities (e.g. you can create illusionary troops to confuse your opponent or cast spells to make other corresponding abilities more powerful). Each mage also has one mega-charm that requires a huge amount of mana, but has a powerful effect on the balance of power on the battlefield. Additionally, in the main story campaign you can take over fortresses in order to gain access to additional spells and abilities. An interesting idea is a special Lawful mode, which transforms the game to significantly reduce randomness the clashes last longer, but the players have the opportunity to fully control what is happening on the battlefield. Game modes Chaos Reborn: Adventures has a single player campaign as well as a multiplayer mode both online and local. Technical aspects Chaos Reborn: Adventures has a nicely designed, three-dimensional graphics. The boards and the hero models and units have been designed with great attention to detail.
