Project Eve is a spectacular action RPG developed by South Korean studio Shift Up. We are talking about a team that previously specialized in smaller projects, developed for mobile devices. The main source of inspiration for the creators were such games as NieR: Automata and God of War. Plot Project Eve takes us on a journey into the post-apocalyptic universe. The heroine of the game Eve is a brave warrior facing the monsters known as NA-tives, trying to put an end to their control of the world. MechanicsIn Project Eve we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). The game offers a semi-open world, consisting mainly of destroyed urban areas; there is plenty of picturesque landscapes as well. When we travel through these places, we are mainly engaged in fights with enemies, among which are the mighty bosses. The battles are extremely dynamic and we eliminate our enemies by making use of the sword, which is the main weapon of the protagonist, and by performing spectacular combos. The pace of the duels can be slightly reduced (and the spectacularity on the contrary) by taking advantage of the slow-motion mode. During the battles, we must pay attention not only to Eve's life bar, but also to three other indicators. We are talking about a shield that protects the warrior from blows, the power of the sword charged by avoiding and blocking the attacks of the enemies, which increases the strength of his damage for a short time, and an indicator showing the remaining number of available recoveries. Technical aspectsProject Eve is based on Unreal Engine 4 technology. The game boasts high quality graphics, which are kept in an attractive, manga-like style.
